We are looking for dedicated and skilled Water Damage Technicians to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Position Overview: We are currently accepting applications for Water Damage Technicians who will be responsible for performing water damage restoration services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency water damage calls and provide professional restoration services.
- Assess the extent of water damage and develop an appropriate plan for restoration.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and disinfection.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Document all aspects of the job, including moisture readings, equipment usage, and job progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and answer any questions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain and clean restoration equipment and company vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a plus but not mandatory.
