JOB DESCRIPTION: The Pulmonary Function Technologist II (PFT) independently provides all modes of pulmonary function testing as ordered by a physician, assists with bronchoscopies, interventional bronchoscopies and other invasive procedures, and monitors and recovers patients after treatment. EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Program. Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC. Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Vermont. Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist within one year of hire date. Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certification This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview. EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in a PFT lab preferred. Bronchoscopy, Interventional Bronchoscopy and Cardio-Pulmonary Stress testing preferred. SIGN-ON BONUS: External candidates are eligible for a one-time sign on bonus of up to $10,000 depending upon years of experience. $5000 bonus for professionals with less than three years of directly related experience or $10,000 bonus with three or more years of directly related experience.
