Responsibilities
Our Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests dining in the restaurant outlets while coordinating activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners; communicating clearly in a professional manner according to appropriate etiquette
- Greets guests promptly at maître stand, escorts them to tables, and provides menus. Ensuring that the table is clean and set before seating guests
- Coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to guests; updates seating chart and maintains rotation schedule; arranges tables, chairs, and settings when necessary to accommodate seating for groups with special needs
