This role serves as a senior individual contributor, acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Service Delivery Manager embedded with delivery teams. The role is accountable for improving delivery flow, predictability, and execution by actively managing Agile events, dependencies, and impediments. In partnership with product, technology, subject matter experts, and organizational change management colleagues, this role reinforces Agile and change practices at the team level to support sustainable adoption. The role is highly execution-focused, with direct accountability for day-to-day delivery outcomes. This role will also drive delivery consistency for Scrum and Kanban teams through hands-on Agile delivery leadership in Finance related projects, while supporting the adoption of new ways of working as part of the Agility & Change Enablement function. Responsibilities Leads Scrum and/or Kanban teams as a hands-on Scrum Master or Agile Service Delivery Manager, applying Agile practices and principles to drive consistent, high-quality delivery of products and services in the Finance departments. Actively plans and facilitates Agile events, manages work intake and flow, and ensures teams are operating with clear priorities and commitments. Identifies, escalates, and resolves delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments to maintain momentum and predictability. Continuously monitors delivery performance and project execution, proactively addressing risks, delays, and quality issues to improve outcomes across Finance compliance, Finance system implementations, tax, accounting, and related projects. Supports the adoption of new ways of working by applying change management practices directly within delivery teams. Partners with change management, product, technology, and subject matter experts to translate change initiatives into clear team-level actions and behaviors. Identifies adoption risks, resistance, and impacts at the team level and takes action to address them through day-to-day delivery leadership. Provides feedback and insights from delivery teams to inform change efforts and support sustainable adoption. Leads and delivers hands-on training for Scrum and Kanban practices to delivery teams and partners, focusing on practical application and consistent execution. Develops and facilitates targeted learning sessions, workshops, and just-in-time training to support effective use of Agile practices. Reinforces standard ways of working through applied training that directly supports delivery outcomes. Contributes to key Agility & Change Enablement initiatives and supports applicable portions of broader corporate projects as needed. Participates in cross-functional efforts by applying Agile delivery and change practices to support execution and outcomes. Takes on discrete initiatives or workstreams that advance department priorities and enterprise objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 7 years of experience in Agile delivery roles such as Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Service Delivery Manager Agile, Scrum, and Kanban certifications are preferred Deep, hands-on knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices, including Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to apply them pragmatically in delivery environments Demonstrated experience driving delivery consistency through effective refinement, story splitting, estimation, retrospectives, flow management, and other Agile techniques Proven ability to plan and problem-solve in close partnership with product management and delivery teams Proficient in leading hands-on training for Scrum and Kanban practices, with a focus on practical application and execution Experience facilitating Agile events and meetings at multiple levels of the organization, with strong facilitation techniques Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles through day-to-day delivery leadership Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, including those resistant or apathetic to change Experience in non-software environments (Finance, Operations, Media, Corporate functions) a plus Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments a plus Working knowledge of change management practices, with experience applying change concepts at the team level Experience using Jira (administrative experience a plus) Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel General technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with technology and delivery systems The anticipated base salary for this position is $127,000-$159,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
