Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospitalist in Onanock, Virginia. You will confine your practice within a hospital setting and specialize in medical issues that are relevant to your field of study. The hospitalist group is responsible for taking over the in-hospital care for our patients. You will consult health records and diagnosis taken by the patient’s primary care physician. You will serve as the sole provider during the patient’s hospital stay while coordinating their care. Education/Qualification: MD or DO or Equivalent Foreign Diploma Training: Internal Medicine Residency from ACGME accredited training program Family Medicine Residency with minimum 3 years of experience as Hospitalist Family Medicine Residency with Hospital Medicine Fellowship Certification(s) and License(s): Eligible for/Current VA Medical License Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 3 years of completing residency) by ABIM/ABFM Current DEA Skills Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Collaborative approach with other providers and clinical/nonclinical staff High Emotional Quotient to be successful in complex healthcare/acute care setting Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and manage stress in a high paced environment. Proficiency in using EMR.
