Overview Responsibilities include work scheduling, evaluating employee performance and managing employee relations. In addition, the nurse manager is responsible for the quality of work, staff productivity, team morale, nursing unit budget, physician collaboration, and employee adherence to facility and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist with resident care as needed in the absence of regular staff, to include but not limited to pushing medication cart, passing medications to residents. Nurse Managers are also required to carry and respond to the on-call phone for increments of 7 days every 4 weeks or as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
