City/State Virginia Beach, VA Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Sentara is currently recruiting an Echocardiographer to work at Virginia Beach General Hospital $20 Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance can be provided to qualified candidates! Full-time rotating position. Rotating Shifts. Shifts include 6am, 7am, 8am, and 8:30am. When you work 8:30am you will be on call that week from 5pm to 6am and Saturday and Sunday from 7am to Noon. Sentara Virginia Beach General has 4 labs. Echo Tech will perform procedures at bedside, ED, 80% is inpatient and 20% is outpatient. Tests include stress, nuclear with imaging, transesophageal, 3D echo, and strain with oncology. At Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, we value Work/Life Balance. Call time, weekends and holidays are scheduled well in advance! Education Required: Associate's Level Degree - Cardiovascular Technology or bachelor’s Level Degree - Cardiovascular Technology. Experience in lieu of degree considered. High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines required.
