Job Description Primary duties include diagnostic imaging and non-imaging procedures, participation in the performance improvement and quality control programs, and preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and reagents. Work is performed with considerable independence under the technical supervision of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and the general supervision of the Technical Director. High school diploma or equivalent GED Graduation from a nuclear medicine program Registered with the ARRT and/or NMTCB. If registry eligible, must pass first available examination Verbal communication skills required to explain procedures to patients Writing skills required to document information related to procedures Possess knowledge of human development process and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds to assist patients Must maintain CPR certification for continued employment Working at University Health is about making a difference.
