What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Assistant position at 10th Street Children's Academy?
10th Street Children's Academy is looking for creative, energetic, Early Childhood Teacher Assistants who enjoy working with young children.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Lead Teacher in the planning of weekly themes, daily lesson plans, and activities.
-Complete bodily care routines including diapering, potty training, hand washing, etc.
-Observe, record, and assess each child's individual growth and development.
-Assure every parent receives a minimum of two photos each day.
-Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
-Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children.
-Ensure compliance with all Illinois DCFS rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
-18 years of age
-High School Diploma, or equivalent
-At least one year of experience working with young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
