Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 9100 W 74TH ST City: SHAWNEE MISSION State: Kansas Postal Code: 66204 Job Description: Shift: 645am - 715pm/Two 12-hour shifts Creates and supports a therapeutic environment for safe treatment implementation. Performs observation rounds on assigned patients, documenting in real time in order to detect behavior patterns. Observes patients to detect behavior patterns and report observations and concerns to the Registered Nurse or behavioral health clinician. Utilizes clear and positive communication skills to assess and provide therapeutic intervention for patients' and families' needs and concerns. Implements patient-centered care and trauma-informed care. Identifies early signs of escalation in patients and effectively de-escalates. Intervenes to intervene with violent, potentially violent, or suicidal patients as required, and monitors patients according to policy guidelines.
