Scrubs in as 1st or 2nd scrub for cesarean sections and assists in positioning, preparation, and draping procedures. Provides bedside patient care including vital signs, blood sugars, newborn baths, feeding, and repositioning. Sets up procedure/operating room with correct instruments and supplies for cesarean sections and circumcisions under the direction of the circulating nurse or OR scrub tech. Identifies unsafe or defective instruments/equipment and implements appropriate actions.
