Job Description
- Investigates quality and manufacturing process concerns and works with production and management to implement solutions.
- Create and update mold assemblies and technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Establish and maintain bill of materials and routings in ERP system.
- Perform root cause analysis of quality and manufacturing process concerns. Work with production and management teams to implement solutions.
- Support continuous improvement of processes throughout the facility.
- Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and general issues.
- Maintain awareness of improved and competitive technologies to enhance production.
- Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned.
The Qualified Candidate will possess:
- 3 Years hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality, execution and follow through.
- Systematic problem-solving processes and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communications with all levels of operations.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects successfully.
- Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Must be computer proficient including 2D and 3D CAD, word processing, spreadsheets, basic file structure understanding, networks, and web navigation. Casting simulation, AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience a plus.
- Technical degree preferred.
