Overview The Program Manager is responsible for supervision of Direct Support Professionals and the Assistant Program Supervisor in assigned program, coordination of the living area, and direct support of individuals, collaborating in team building, and provides organization, communication and coordination functions necessary to achieve Individual, Team, and Company goals. Provides supervision, coaching, modeling, engagement, and support to students in living, activity, school, work, and community settings. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure appropriate supervision of the students in the program. Maintain the required ratio for coverage. Fill shifts as required. Participate in on-call rotation. Provide support and mentoring for staff. Evaluate, coach, and correct staff performance as necessary. Ensure new staff members are appropriately trained. Communicate information necessary for staff to maintain a consistent, therapeutic environment for the students. Oversee budget and expenses. Completes other tasks and projects related to the efficient and effective operations of the program. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science field and one (1) year experience in residential services, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and one (1) year supervisory experience required. Demonstrated skills in therapeutic interactions and approaches with GLS students. A demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and effectively solve problems. Active, positive involvement in the treatment team. Satisfactory performance and attendance record. Current status as an agency approved driver is preferred.
