18 & Under MD is a growing pediatric primary care practice based in Flower Mound Texas. We provide high quality care to children and their families in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere. Role Description:
This position is for a full time, on site Administrative Assistant in our busy front office. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to our patients, physicians and Practice Administrator. This will include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, collecting copays, deductibles and balances owed, as well as greeting and completing the patient check-in and check-out process.
The ideal candidate will need to maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor to everyone entering or contacting the practice and be able to prioritize patient needs in a fast paced daily clinic environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Phone and Communication Skills Required
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Organizational skills
- Experience in a medical setting is a plus (but not required for consideration)
Background Check required for employment
Drug Testing may be required as determined by Administration
FT and PT positions will be considered.
Pay Range $15-$16 an hour to start based on experience
