LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Equipment, General Foreman

Title: LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Equipment, General Foreman The Equipment Foreman supervises multiple union employees providing maintenance services and fault repair for a wide variety of tactical and non-tactical equipment. Responsible for every aspect of workload planning, coordination, and service execution to meet contractual obligations in accordance with the performance work statement. The Foreman sets priorities, monitors performance, coaches, mentors, and trains team members to achieve key performance indicators and quality goals. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of Maintenance services, Quality and HSE within assigned area. Evaluates service execution for compliance to contract, schedule, cost and quality, advising the production control team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors. Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with performance standards in AR 750-1 and manufacturers guidelines for commercial equipment. Maintains the short-range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations with the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour utilization for maintenance process, develops an equipment and tools requirement plan and reviews it with the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. Supervises union employees on a daily basis, conducts performance counseling’s, makes recommendations for discipline/termination of employment, and participates in the KBR selection/retention process. Performs roll calls and accountability of personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. Applicable Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meets short suspense dates Must be free of medical restrictions/limitations that prevent the performance of required duties May be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Perform other duties as assigned Additional Skills or Experience Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience in Tactical Vehicle maintenance as a Lead or Foreman preferred Experience in the use of GCSS-Army preferred Additional requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Must possess Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a background screening for NAC-I Must be able to perform required duties, and wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be able to lift/move 45 lbs. without assistance and up to 80 lbs. with assistance. Must be physically capable of performing the work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand and dust. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Basic Compensation: $80,600 - $121,000 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
