We are setting up a state of the art manufacturing facility and looking for a manufacturing professional who will be spearheading Vertical start up of the plant.

This is a great opportunity to lead manufacturing and operation of our automated lines and plays significant role in coaching and developing the shop floor associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production and maintenance, with expertise in ERP and Digital .

Position Overview:

Effectively manages manufacturing operations ensuring safe operation, product quality, integrity of materials, productivity, inventory accuracy and operation cost control, superior service levels to internal and external customers.

The manager is expected to be a good team player and collaborate well with other functions like QSE, Warehouse, Planning etc

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Safety related protocols and procedures to achieve site target of Zero incidents
• Follow quality procedures laid down by company to ensure first-time-right quality mindset
• Responsible for the coaching and training of associates to turn it into a high performing team, equipped with right problem-solving techniques
• Driving versatility matrix for multi skilling of associates and design their career path
• Ownership of manufacturing deliverables, including high equipment availability
• Champion “My equipment, My responsibility” mindset
• Understands schedules, products, materials, product quality requirements, to manage lines performance and KPIs
• Manage manufacturing process and procedure to ensure quality and good manufacturing practices, including 5S and other operational excellence initiatives
• Experience of working in a highly automated manufacturing environment
• RCA, CAPA and redressal of Customer Complaints
• Be responsible for the planning production capacity & productivity

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above; preferably in Mechanical or Electronics & Instrumentation

Related Work Experience:

More than 8 years’ experience in production and maintenance, at least three years of management experience in Food or Pharmaceutical industry

Understand and proficient in-

• SAP PP and PE module
• Automation and Mechanical troubleshooting
