Description
Builds and broadens customer relationships through exceptional customer service. Interacts with customers and potential customers. Performs administrative functions related to deposit and business products and services. Responds to and resolves/satisfies customer inquiries, requests, problems and complaints accurately and timely. Maintains a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with customers. Maintains current knowledge and complies with Bank policies and procedures. Adheres to Core Values and promotes Value Driven Culture at all times. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Serves customers primarily through face to face channels but also occasionally through electronic channels such as phone, email, and online.
- Builds customer relationships to increase deposit and business accounts, which includes cross-selling additional products.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of Bank products and services to satisfy customer needs and build stronger customer relationships.
- Interviews customers and opens new personal and/or business accounts in compliance with Bank policies. Prepares all related documentation and ensures all documentation is complete.
- Assists customers with product/account questions, complaints and issues. Explains different types of accounts to customers and assists in the selection of the most appropriate products for the customers.
- Services existing accounts through daily interactions with customers. Assists customers in the understanding and reconciliation of account activity.
- Responds to customer problems, research requests and/or complaints appropriately and requests assistance as needed to resolve problems and acknowledge and respond to complaints.
- Handles items to be sent for collections, maintain records of these items and notify customer of results.
- Maintains a professional and courteous manner with customers and co-workers in all interactions.
- Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures, including attendance at annual training, as directed by the Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
- Responsible for complying with and maintaining current knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: GED or high school diploma required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business preferred. A combination of education and work experience may be substituted for a college degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One - two years’ related experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Bank operations required.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Strong organizational and mathematical skills are required.
Salary : $34,800 - $44,000
