Job Summary
We have a On-Call Registered Nurse opportunity open now providing home health visits to clients on Saturdays and Sundays
Home Health experience is strongly preferred.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in home care. This role requires excellent assessment skills, and will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in FL.
- A minimum of one year of Home Health experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions.
- Provide specialized care for patients in critical conditions, particularly in ICU settings.
- Assist with procedures such as phlebotomy and mammography when required.
- Deliver home care services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
