SERVPRO® Team Bisig is seeking a hardworking and dependable Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. As a Mitigation Technician, you will be on the front lines helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond quickly to emergency service calls for water, fire, and mold mitigation

Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment (e.g., air movers, dehumidifiers)

Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials

Extract water using pumps and vacuum units

Clean and sanitize affected structures and contents

Document loss and job site conditions with photos and moisture readings

Communicate clearly with customers, teammates, and supervisors

Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and warehouse

Adhere to all safety protocols and SERVPRO® operational standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Experience in restoration, construction, or a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Able to pass a background check (employment is contingent upon successful completion)

Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergency response

Excellent customer service and team collaboration skills

IICRC certification is a plus (training provided if not certified)
