A Salesforce Developer is a professional developer specializing in developing and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This position will be responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce or involving data migrations, systems integrations, and 3rd party applications. In addition, the developer may support administrative tasks such as constructing data models and automation through declarative tools. Our Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Sales and Sales Operations teams and peers in the ITS application team to develop solutions based in Salesforce that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Key Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions. Responsible for Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement. Understand the platform’s architecture, capabilities, and limitations. • Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support improvement and company growth and scale. Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code. Stay up-to date with the latest Salesforce technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Skills & Qualifications Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce Platform. Experience writing Apex classes and triggers. Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX. Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL/SOQL, Java/C /OOP. Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users. Technical project management experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API. Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
