The Department of Mathematics at the University of Miami is seeking outstanding candidates to fill a Research Assistant Professorship in Mathematics beginning April 2023. We particularly invite candidates whose research interests align with Algebraic Geometry and with the possibility of teaching one course during the academic year. Appointment as a Research Assistant Professor will be for a period of six months to one year with the possibility of renewal subject to availability of funding and satisfactory performance. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding research potential and have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Candidates with postdoctoral experience as well as new PhDs are welcome to apply. A PhD in Mathematics or related field is required by the time the appointment begins. Formal review of applications will begin March 15, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled.
