Position Overview
Shop based mechanic who will assist 23XI in the assembly, disassembly, and service of race cars and components. This position will have a primary focus in the suspension department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble, disassemble, inspect, repair, service, and maintain race car suspension components including but not limited to Control Arms, Uprights, Brake Pads/Rotors, Brake Calipers, Half Shafts
- Install and remove front/rear suspension
- Service & maintain brake calipers/rotors/pads/ducts
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- 2 years of experience as a mechanic in the NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience with Magnetic Particle Inspection &/or Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
- General knowledge and understanding of race car components and systems
- Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, hammers, Jacks, screw drivers, saws, drills, etc)
- Ability to assess and react to situations in a fast-paced stressful environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skills to work independently, and operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to identify and propose solutions to complex issues
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to drive execution and results
