Orthopedic Surgeon

Opportunity for a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well-established and growing team within a stable, clinician-led organization. This individual will be replacing a recently retired surgeon while helping us grow and expand services to meet the needs of our thriving community.
Practice Specifics:
- Practice includes Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, and Orthopedic Trauma with one full-time and one casual surgeon and four Advanced Practice Clinicians
- An advanced Practice Clinician covers Primary Orthopedic Calls, with surgeons providing secondary calls. Primary Access to PACS system and EMR from home. Shared calls with an explanation of 1:4 focus on provider wellbeing and ensure a healthy work-life balance.
- Enjoy a loyal patient population with a strong referral network within Essentia Health’s integrated care team.
- Collaboration with orthopedic teams at Essentia Health facilities in Fargo, ND & Duluth, MN.
- Robust physical and occupational therapy departments create a supportive environment committed to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Affiliated Essentia Health Hospital employs dedicated/full-time ED and hospitalist physicians

- Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area. Detroit Lakes, MN, is a picturesque community offering outdoor activities year-round.

- Regional Service area consists of 7 clinics and one hospital
COMPENSATION
- $715,013. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
