WCS Integration Developer (Only W2)

We are looking for an experienced WCS Integration Developer to support and enhance integrations between Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Manhattan WMOS. This is a Java and integration-heavy role requiring hands-on experience with real-time communication protocols and warehouse automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WCS architecture within the context of Manhattan WMOS environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between WCS and WMOS, ensuring seamless data exchange and system reliability.
• Develop real-time interfaces using Java, middleware, and message queues (e.g., JMS, Kafka).
• Collaborate with WMOS functional and technical teams to define WCS touchpoints and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance across warehouse automation layers.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, and solution validation with stakeholders.
• Support go-live activities, issue resolution, and long-term maintenance of WCS integrations.
• Create technical documentation, integration specs, and deployment guides.
  

• 6 years of experience in Java-based integration development.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and how they interact with Manhattan WMOS.
• Experience developing middleware interfaces, APIs, and real-time messaging systems.
• Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with message brokers like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Understanding of warehouse automation, robotics, sortation systems, and RF communication.
• Experience working in fast-paced supply chain, retail, or 3PL environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

• Experience with MIF (Message Integration Framework) within Manhattan WMOS.
• Exposure to SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) or other reporting systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems is a plus.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
