Job Description:
We
are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automation Project
Manager to lead and oversee automation projects in the petrochemical
industry. The Automation Project Manager will be responsible for
planning, executing, and delivering automation projects on time and
within budget while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities/duties:
Single
point of contact for associated project/program work scopes: Automation
Lifecycle Management (ALM) programs and other internal projects.
Responsible
for project initiation and planning, including scope identification,
the creation and maintenance of the Project Execution Plans (PEP), and
project registers.
Build and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors, through engagement and face-to-face interaction.
Work together with internal stakeholders, driving transparency and collaboration.
Monitor program KPIs and health, initiating action when required to proactively address concerns.
Own financial health – plan, monitor, and drive commercial success.
Maintain awareness of critical path activities; build contingency plans and implement mitigating recovery strategies.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications/skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Technology
3-5 years of related work experience
Knowledge of basic drilling operations
Experience with analytics, business intelligence, and project management tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts clearly
Able to work independently with the ability to multitask on multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and highly motivated
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
