4 Corner Resources is seeking a Software Developer that is responsible for designing, building, and supporting learning systems application development and integrating third-party products. This role is fully remote, and is not accepting C2C candidates at this time.
Software Developer Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, document, and implement high-quality learning system applications that meet specifications and requirements.
- Analyze the performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies.
- Follow development standards to ensure maintainability of code in a collaborative team environment.
- Modify software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth.
- Participate in code reviews and project meetings.
- Provide weekly status updates on current projects.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and teams.
- Meet professional obligations by managing deadlines, schedules, resources, and meetings efficiently, while demonstrating respect for others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the high-tech industry, product engineering, or IT.
- 3-5 years of experience in the following:
- Node.js (TypeScript, Express)
- Angular
- MySQL or other relational databases
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Unix (RedHat Linux or similar)
- Preferred Requirements:
- React
- Developing enterprise-wide software solutions and business applications
- Familiarity with Perl and Apache
- Background in Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics.
- Experience in the Education industry or with educational data
- Familiarity with git version control.
- Up to $75 / HR
