As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling vehicles, ensuring that all components are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble vehicles according to established procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to safely dismantle components.
- Inspect parts for wear and damage, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in order.
- Document the dismantling process and track inventory of reusable parts.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Previous experience in dismantling or assembly roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
