ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective and accurate performance of assigned Treasury Management functions.
- Answers questions and solves problems for business members by listening to issue, collecting data, securing answer and reporting results.
- Coordinates and assists with documentation on business services requests.
- Maintains department files, completes required report reviews and maintains report history for audit purposes.
2. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business relationships with members, vendors and trade professionals.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Actively works to build member relationships by assisting business members regarding financial matters and by cross selling other products and services.
- Maintains a significant level of trust and diplomacy with our vendors and business member partners.
3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations with Credit Union personnel and management.
- Assists and supports department personnel accurately and promptly.
- Coordinates activities with related departments and obtains or conveys information as needed.
- Keeps Management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Comply with the U.S. Patriot Act and the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures.
- Comply with the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and the Credit Union’s Information Security program, maintaining the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- Treasury Management functions are effectively performed in accordance with Credit Union policies and with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Good business relations exist with members, Credit Union personnel and management. Programs and services properly and thoroughly explained and members’ needs accurately assessed. Members’ problems are courteously and promptly resolved. Confidentiality is consistently demonstrated in regard to member and Credit Union information.
- Calls and inquiries ae courteously and professionally handled or referred. Professional relations exist with all contacts. Confidentiality is consistently demonstrated in regard to member and Credit Union information.
- Good working relations exist with Credit Union personnel and management and assistance is provided as needed. Management is appropriately informed.
- Duties are efficiently, effectively, and accurately performed in accordance with established policies, standards and security procedures.
Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic understanding of business service functions.
- Knowledge of related computer applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous related experience helpful.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent interviewing, communication and public relations skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Willing to cooperate with and assist others.
- Well organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing and use decimals to compute ratios and percentages.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read a variety of books, magazines and instruction manuals.
- Ability to prepare memos, reports and essays using proper punctuation, spelling and Grammar.
