Job Summary:
Oversee and contribute to daily activities / responsibilities within Liquids batching, blending and packaging operations. Aid in training, scheduling, and monitoring Liquids areas and personnel. Work with Liquids Manager to develop team members, monitor area performance, team behavior and achieve team, scheduling and facility objectives.
Weigh, issue, handle, blend, bottle, run equipment, document and process raw materials in compliance with all Dietary Supplement GMP’s, and company SOP’s within Liquids Manufacturing.
Operate Liquids Batching / Blending / Packaging rooms and equipment by following and documenting accurately all cleaning processes, setup steps and handling of raw materials by means of verifying information, lifting or carrying, scooping, sifting, blending, etc. all while maintaining personal and facility safety, producing a high-quality product and meeting production schedule requirements.
Support team, company culture, area and facility objectives, facility initiatives by example through positive behavior, performance, and attitude. Report any and all situations as they arise, good or bad, that could impact the daily operations from a safety, quality, performance, or cost standpoint. Execute other duties as assigned by management.
Job Functions:
Be engaged in contributing to a healthy, safe work environment reporting all unsafe work conditions
Effectively communicate to management when issues or concerns arise
Train and develop Liquids team members ensuring steps defined in SOP’s and cGMP’s are being followed
Monitor area performance and make critical decisions to better utilize resources to gain area improvement
Monitor area schedule and make recommendations and decisions to most efficiently maintain schedule
Monitor area safety and quality of product ensuring both are adequate and being upheld
Ensure all Batching, Blending, and Packaging activities and procedures are executed according to company work instructions, SOP’s, and are in compliance with cGMP’s.
Process all tasks with a sense of urgency without compromising personal and facility safety and quality of product.
Assist with weighing and issuing raw materials with a sense of urgency while strictly following company SOP’s, and GMP’s.
Assist with processing raw materials, blends and packaging runs by weighing, dumping, sifting, screening, blending setting up, verifying processes, paperwork completion and checks with a sense of urgency while strictly following company SOP’s, and GMP’s.
Assist with operating and cleaning batching, blending, and packaging rooms, equipment, processing equipment with a sense of urgency while strictly following company SOP’s, and GMP’s.
Assist with building production job pick lists for production jobs
Detailed and accurate in following work processes and procedures
Detailed and accurate logging of information, real-time sign offs, dates, times, lot numbers, weights, etc., on all forms, logs, paperwork, and electronic systems related to manufacturing area.
Support, contribute, be engaged in and aid with developing continuous improvement efforts / program and culture within area of responsibility.
Work effectively with other employees through means of effective communication on tasks, challenges, strategizing daily workload plans, sharing workloads, rotating tasks, helping other team members with their tasks and overall team work.
Must effectively communicate with all team members, departments and leadership in a constructive manner. Communication must be professional, respectful and precise. This will include but is not limited to daily huddles, meetings, team meetings, constructive feedback, one on one conversations or emails
Provide timely updates and info on projects, problems, and solutions with daily workloads and projects
Help and assist with on hands training of new hires or temps to help them learn processes, SOP and cGMP practices correctly and efficiently.
Be engaged in self, team, area and facility performance, safety, and compliance and development
Complete all required documents for SOP’s, quality control, and GMP compliance
Perform other job functions as required
Effectively communicate to management when issues or concerns arise.
Qualifications:
High School degree
2-3 years manufacturing experience
Bilingual a plus, not required.
Skills:
Capable of working efficiently while working safely
Good math skills
Good attitude
Experience with forklift a plus
Good communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable and high integrity
Detail oriented
Positive personality
Ability to follow and complete instructions
Ability to lift heavy containers (50-60 lbs) consistently
Work additional hours as required
12. Must have the ability to come in early and/or stay late on occasion with short notice
Ability to manage team members

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
