Driver - Part Time

At Express 4x4 Truck Rental, a subsidiary of Sasser Family Companies, we specialize in flexible and affordable mid- to long-term pick-up truck rentals with a commitment to on-time delivery anywhere in North America. We are currently one of the largest pick-up truck rental providers in the US.

The Driver role is a part-time, on-call role primarily responsible for the delivery and pick-up of rental trucks.

As a Part Time Driver, Here's What You Will Do:

• Driver is responsible for the safe and on-time delivery and pick up of rental trucks
• Works with the Manager to coordinate and communicate any issues as they arise
• Diligent attention to safety
• Basic knowledge of rental equipment and safe driving procedures
• Can be outdoors driving in all weather conditions
• Adheres to Company policies and work requirements
• Assure that all Rentals are maintained and in good working conditions

Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

• High school diploma or GED - preferred
• Valid PA driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Be able to legally operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently while entering and exiting the vehicle
• General knowledge of the rental equipment and have the ability to drive a pickup truck
• Customer Service
• Good communication
• Traffic rules and regulations
• Team player

Compensation

The hourly rate for this opportunity is: $16.00.

This role is classified as non-exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek.
