Pay: $18-20 DOE
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. This position will focus on deburring plastic parts, installing Heli-coils, and threaded PEM inserts, as well as performing bead blasting and final deburring on stainless steel components. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishing of plastic and metal parts to meet our company's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deburr Plastic Parts:
- Perform manual and/or machine-assisted deburring of plastic components to remove any excess material, sharp edges, or imperfections.
Install Heli-coils into Plastic Parts:
- Accurately install Heli-coils into plastic components, ensuring secure threading and proper alignment as per specifications.
Threaded PEM Insert Installation:
- Install approximately 800 threaded PEM inserts into plastic parts, ensuring proper insertion, alignment, and integrity of the threads.
Bead Blast Stainless Steel Parts:
- Process approximately 40 stainless steel parts through bead blasting to achieve a uniform surface finish.
Final Deburr Stainless Steel Parts:
- Perform final deburring of stainless steel components post-bead blasting to remove any remaining sharp edges or imperfections.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring all work meets product specifications and quality standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including part counts, completion times, and any issues encountered during processing.
Maintenance and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any production issues as they arise.
