Junior / Intermediate Architect

Location: New York, New York

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift

Star level, global architecture and design firm in in New York City is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Architect to join an award-winning practice. This person will be responsible for a diverse range of projects (full-process), from large scale ground up commercial, mixed-use, to high rise towers, both local and international, working alongside the principal. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, proficiency in Revit, and large scale New York city, high-design project work experience. Ideally this designer will have experience working through all phases of the design process.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Junior 1-3 years of professional experience
• Intermediate 4-7 years of professional experience
• Extensive knowledge of building technology, building codes, and the assembly of construction drawings
• Proficiency in creating construction/working drawings using Revit
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Strong interest in design both conceptual and technical and the coordination of complex building systems
• Experience working on luxury, large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects
• A degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• Excellent communication skills
