JOB OVERVIEW
The Biorepository Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt, QC, and storage of clinical specimens.
This is a day shift position: Mon-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting with receipt of consignments and shipments.
- Responsible for the opening of shipments and the quality check of patient info forms. Escalates incorrect, missing information, or damaged shipments to senior level staff.
- Responsible for shipment to facilitate long term storage or clients and sample disposition.
- Supports and responds to after-hour alarms and/or other job critical functions.
- Assists in maintenance of equipment.
- Assists with supply inventory functions and general clean-up of workstations.
- Performs various administrative duties as required.
- Responsible for organizing the work area, as requested by management.
- Dependent upon functional area, may also handle receipt of compounds and control material. Responsible for following safety procedures.
- Participates in continuing education through self-study and attendance of meetings.
- Performs work in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic Computer skills.
- Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,800.00 - $53,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $35,800 - $53,800
