The Role
HOKA is seeking a Senior eCommerce Manager to join their North America Direct-to-Consumer Team. This role is responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction and operational performance of their eCommerce platform. The Senior eCommerce Manager will lead a team of eCommerce professionals, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and ensure the seamless execution of online strategies. This role will be pivotal in optimizing HOKA's digital presence, enhancing customer experience, and maximizing revenue growth.
In this role, the Senior eCommerce Manager will be accountable for the delivery of eCommerce revenue targets and establishing the .com experience as the pinnacle expression of the brand. They will develop and align the seasonal eCommerce Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy with various teams, including marketing, planning, merchandising, acquisition, retention, user experience, and technology. Leading a team through in-season execution, they will ensure the success of the GTM plan by integrating key product and marketing moments, promotional strategies, technology/UX enhancements, and on-site segmentation and personalization strategies.
The team, comprised of in-season trading, content development, site optimization, and data analysis roles, will own the website sales funnel from entry to cart, driving conversion and optimizing the consumer journey. The Senior eCommerce Manager will serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for all website-related matters, held accountable to KPIs and sales plans, and expected to lead segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance the consumer experience and drive business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Serve as a stakeholder and key contributor to the eCommerce Leadership team.
- Support leadership in developing and mentoring a high-performing team of eCommerce managers, site merchandisers, digital UI and UX designers, content developers, and eCommerce analysts to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Consult on the creation of team KPIs, holding teams accountable for achieving these goals throughout the year.
- Lead across the matrix through influence and partnership; instill and reinforce the highest standards for collaboration and teamwork within eCommerce and cross-functional partners.
eCommerce Channel Management:
- Ensure organizational focus on meeting and exceeding brand and DTC team expectations while maintaining a consumer-first approach.
- Drive pre-season GTM meetings and planning milestones with all relevant stakeholders; collaborate to construct a comprehensive pre-season strategic roadmap for US and Canada DTC eCommerce channels.
- Oversee the successful execution of seasonal GTM plans.
- Incorporate brand-defined consumer targets into eCommerce strategies and GTM planning.
- Facilitate the development, documentation, and visual communication of on-site consumer journeys, leveraging these plans for GTM, personalization, and segmentation strategies.
- Contribute to A/B testing and personalization/segmentation tests, regularly reporting findings to stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and consult on long-term site strategy and project roadmaps, including defining milestones and timelines for execution teams.
- Champion seasonal cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on site enhancement priorities.
- Propose site enhancements via business case submissions to ensure the delivery of next-in-class digital experiences.
- Leverage data and consumer behavior to share competitive insights on assortment & trends with merchandising teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep the eCommerce strategy relevant and competitive.
Data-Driven Leadership:
- Lead business reviews highlighting successes, learnings, risks, and plans, while utilizing data to tell compelling stories and inform decision-making.
- Transform data into compelling stories that inform on-demand decision-making and shape lessons-learned recaps for continuous improvement.

We’d love to hear from people with
- Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and consumer-centric design.
- Experience in Direct-to-Consumer channels is a plus but not required.
- Proven experience with personalization and segmentation onsite strategy development and execution management.
- Familiarity with agile work environments and scrum processes is a plus.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
