Blood Bank Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MLS Blood Bank Supervisor to oversee the activities and team within the Blood Bank department. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service, and providing care for patients of all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Blood Bank operations, including team management and workflow coordination.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing operational challenges and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Serve patients across the lifespan, ensuring accurate and timely test results.
• Assume additional supervisory responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification: Certified as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or a specialist in a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a computerized laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a Blood Bank or clinical lab setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex workflows.
