Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Project Engineer at Terravanta. The role is located in Rosemead, CA, with some work
from home twice/week. The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating project Design, planning, resourcing, Scope of Work preparation, progress reporting, technical activities, scope alternative analysis, and troubleshooting for engineering of major capital projects
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost
- Planing, scheduling, and budgeting resources for projects
- Reviewing and evaluates technical project documents to identify gaps, errors, or areas for improvement
- Leading resolution of technical conflicts; exercising judgment and discretion to advise and recommend courses of action
- Responsible for QA of design and engineering outputs for internal and external resources
- Supporting other Civil Engineering and Business Activities as needed
- Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
- 7 years of experience in Civil Engineering
- 1 years of Experience in Project Management/ Project Engineering
- Quality Control expertise
- Experience in civil engineering projects
- Stormwater Management and Site Development skills
- Knowledge of relevant design and engineering software
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations
- Knowledge of Project Management principles
- Proactive approach to project management
- Basic knowledge of project scheduling
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and reprioritize on a day-to-day basis depending on new or existing challenges that may arise
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
