We’re seeking a detail-oriented and plant-savvy Indoor Plant Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, has a passion for indoor greenery, and is experienced in plant care. You’ll be responsible for servicing a rotating route of commercial and/or residential clients on a weekly basis, ensuring their indoor plants and container pots are healthy, thriving, and beautiful. Note: Indoor plants are about 90% of our serviced inventory, while container pots are about 10%

This job can be physically demanding so being in reasonable shape is necessary. We occasionally use ladders, so good balance is also needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled watering and fertilization based on plant type and environment
  • Conduct routine pest and disease inspections, and implement organic or approved remediation solutions
  • Complete repotting and soil refreshes as needed to ensure long-term plant health

Pruning as needed, staking as needed

  • Monitor plant health and proactively report or address any concerns
  • Clean and groom plants, removing debris and dead foliage
  • Maintain detailed records visits and recommendations for client follow-ups
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent our brand professionally

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with indoor plant care, nursery work, or horticulture preferred
  • Strong knowledge of common houseplants, pests, and plant health indicators
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if traveling between locations)
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for plant care
  • Comfortable using mobile apps to track routes and log service activity

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
