Position Overview:
Are you ready to make a real difference in someone's life? We are urgently seeking a Mandarin-Speaking HCA Caregiver who is passionate, reliable, and ready to start immediately. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, primarily showering and grooming
- Run errands as needed for the client
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health status
Qualifications:
- Experience in assisted living or similar environments is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Compassionate approach to care, especially for clients with autism, dementia, or those in hospice
- Proficiency in Mandarin
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with effective techniques
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and assisting with transfers
- Must be able to drive within a 25-mile radius
