Job Summary
A behavior technician works and plays with children of all ages with autism spectrum disorder in their home, implementing goals created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities
- Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with the clinical team to provide feedback on client progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Physical requirements include: kneeling and sitting on the floor, standing, running, and picking up young children
Bonus/preferred qualifications, but not required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with special needs children
- Experience working in early childhood education
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
