Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience Milling Machine Operator, may accept Dozer/Grader experience (min. 3 years).
- Able to communicate effectively with supervisors/co-workers
- Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stoop, bend, or crouch as required to perform duties
Responsibilities
- Must be able to operate an asphalt milling machine while capable of maintaining the depth of cut and cross slope that will achieve the results specified in the project contract documents
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures as applicable to asphalt milling
- Understand and follow plans to specification with an average depth of cut
- Operate the milling machine with a built-in automatic grade control system while controlling the transverse slope and the longitudinal profile to produce the specified results
- Able to make decisions based on verifiable standards
- Able to utilize a string line to ensure maintaining the proper alignment
- Understand and meet production and quantity requirements
- Responsible for daily maintenance on equipment which must remain in proper and safe working order
- Notify supervisor if equipment needs repair
Experience
- Asphalt Mill Operator: 1-3 year
- Will accept 3 year dozer or grader operator
License/Certification
- Driver's License (Required)
- CDL (Preferred but not required)

- Travel Pay
