Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to clients, fostering their growth and development through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Must meet 20 billable hours per week in a block schedule. The other time will be spent on the floor coaching and modeling for less experienced BT's and RBT's. This person will help respond to maladaptive behaviors and provide feedback, along with the designated BCBA, to technicians in order to support their growth in the field.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
- Provide direct care to clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding progress and challenges.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulations related to behavioral health practices.
- This is a leadership position that requires passion, compassion, patience, and a positive attitude. A willingness to jump in wherever needed is required. Providing direct service as needed is required if a floater is not available.
- The ability to get along and be a positive member of a team is required.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and meet the specified requirements:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices including data collection in ABA platforms.
- Experience in patient care within an ABA setting, clinic/center .
- Mastery of applied behavior analysis techniques and leadership qualities.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.
- Ability to engage effectively with children and adapt strategies to meet their unique needs.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
