We install, service and maintain draft beer systems, wine on tap, cocktails on tap, coffee and water systems for the hospitality sector. Position Overview
The position of Vice President of Finance at A Head for Profits (AHFP) is to oversee our company's financial management, reporting, and forecasting activities. The VP will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to meet the long-term financial sustainability of the company. The VP will lead the accounting team and work closely with other company executives to ensure that the company's financial goals are met.
This position will report directly to the President with accountability to the partnership group.
Position Requirements
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and be able to present them during operational meetings.
- Manage the company's accounting and financial reporting.
- Manage relationships and work closely with third-party accounting and tax professionals.
- Provide financial and accounting information to company executives and the partnership group.
- Lead and mentor the various accounting teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Work closely with other departments and AHFP companies to make sure financial information is accurate, timely, and relevant and meets compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance on financial strategy, policy, and decision-making.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in financial management, with experience in a senior leadership role.
- Financial management software knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments and senior management.
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment is a plus.
- Merger and Acquisition experience preferred.
