Job Summary
The Costing Specialist provides manufacturing estimates and analysis to the Production & Sales teams. Working with our suppliers, production and other teams at Roxtec to provide quick responses to our customers to provide a high level of customer service. This position is based in Tulsa, OK and reports directly to the Production Manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop costing estimates for new and existing manufactured Roxtec solutions
- Coordinate necessary drawings and technical information for quotation and shop orders.
- Regular audit of completed shop orders for time or other discrepancies
- Apply analysis of demonstrated manufacturing times to update routings to improve scheduling accuracy
- Support Production manager in creation of manufacturing related reports and KPI's
- Gather and analyze financial data related to local production and prepare reports as needed
- Assist financial controller in gathering data for manufacturing work center and labor cost analysis
- Periodic suppliers spend analysis with a focus on cost reduction.
- Local supplier management including supplier scorecards with support from the Quality team
- Assist production manager in industrialization of new products or designs as needed
- Backup functions of planning coordinator as needed
- Other costing, reporting or manufacturing planning activities as required
