SUMMARY: The Global Sales Executive Director is a senior leadership position responsible for leading the company's domestic and international OEM sales operations, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and nurturing strategic client relationships across diverse markets.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage sales team, fostering a high-performance culture  and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new markets and business opportunities to drive consistent growth and profitability.

  • Market Intelligence:  Partner with product management, engineering, and operations teams to align sales strategy with customer needs and product capabilities.  Provide insights into competitor activities, emerging technologies, and regulatory environments affecting both domestic and international markets.  Represent the voice of the customer in product development roadmaps.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for direct reports.

 

QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: In daily work, a team member is responsible to maintain or exceed the degree of excellence requested by the internal and external customers of this department. This includes following established policies, following ISO 9001 & 14001 policies, business practices, and work instructions, using problem solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Experience in field / related field, and/or a combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of direct sales, market development, application engineering experience with large accounts—preferably OEM’s. Knowledge of the agricultural, construction and heavy truck markets.  Proven track record of selling value and penetrating executive ranks with the decision makers and influencers in customer organizations that generate profitable growth. Well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; including the ability to successfully communicate at all levels of an organization. Previous experience participating in a cross-functional team, working to translate customer needs into technology solutions.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
