Job Description :
A Lifetime of Smiles is an award winning, state of the art facility that is committed to providing the highest quality of care for 25 years to our community in a fun, friendly atmosphere. We are a full service dental office with the most advanced equipment offering our patients preventative, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontic procedures. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to improve patients' smiles and therefore, their lives.
This is an opportunity to work full time in our fast growing office. You will play a key role in our office as a dental assistant and you will help support the clinical needs of the patients and our amazing doctors. A Lifetime of Smiles offers onsite training for all procedures in dentistry including but not limited to cosmetic, restorative, endodontics, periodontics, and preventative services. You will be mentored by four on site doctors and four on site hygienists.
What you will do :
- Comfort patients
- Set up and breakdown operatories
- Take dental x-rays
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories along with patient vital signs
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the doctor
- Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions
