Annual Salary:
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master’s degree or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline in which clinical experience is a program requirement.
Bilingual; possess effective verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish.
Licensure:
Clinicians must be licensed with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or be eligible for licensure.
Non – licensed clinician’s must be actively working towards licensure while employed and attain licensure within 3 years of employment date.
Experience:
Minimum 1-year behavioral health work experience.
Minimum 1-year work experience with minors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Document (verbal/written) and submit significant and routine paperwork such as progress notes, statistical reports, daily activities, upcoming events, special concerns, varied incident reports, etc., as required by the program and submit to appropriate personnel.
Conduct mental health assessments.
Provide ongoing individual and group counselling services.
Screen for human trafficking concerns.
Provide crisis intervention services.
Provide varied verbal and physical crisis intervention and counseling.
Directly responsible to the Lead Clinician and Clinical Director/Clinical Supervisor for administrative and clinical issues regarding admission, discharge and utilization management issues, while in conformance with accepted clinical practice and the agency’s program definition and policies.
Complete staffing notes for multi-disciplinary clinical team reviews.
Support Utilization Management functions as needed in conjunction with Lead Clinician/Clinical Director.
Train and supervise new staff as needed.

Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
Current Auto Liability Insurance
39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
