Driver - Class A

A Plus Tree, Inc is seeking a Class A driver to be part of our Tree worker's crews. You must be able to do grounds work on the tree crew.

As a Class A driver, you will be operating our trucks and equipment. You will be driving the company vehicles to/from the job site AND performing tree work while there, working as a grounds person.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
• Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
• Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks.
• Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
• Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Foreman or other relevant parties.
• All other duties as assigned .

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Class A license.
• Drivers must have a clean record.
• three years of consistent driving experience.
• Any major violations within 60 months will not be accepted.
• Passionate about tree work, service, and people.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Outdoor enthusiast! You will be working outdoors come rain or shine.
• Hard-working, reliable, honest, and able to report for work regularly and punctually.
• Follow safety guidelines. Safety is our #1 DONE.
• Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
• Must be 21 years older.
