Job Description

The Program Director is responsible for managing the overall system of supports and services provided to our clients. Strong organizational, communication, and personnel management skills are an absolute must for a successful candidate. A Steady Hand seeks to employ the highest quality staff, and the Program Director is responsible for hiring, continued training, and management of staff to ensure the best quality of service for our clients.

The Program Director ensures that all client medications, finances, household upkeep, and any other needs are being met by the staff within the homes, and will serve as a backup staff in the case of being unable to secure coverage.

Unique about A Steady Hand's Program Directors: A Steady Hand offers a smaller caseload than typical but still pays above market rate. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and can motivate themselves and their staff. We offer a very flexible schedule as long as sites and schedules are running smoothly, guardians and clients are happy, and staff are completing their duties as required. We also do not have any clients with aversive behavior plans. Because we offer more pay for smaller caseloads, we expect the utmost from our Program Directors in terms of communication, being proactive, and being a positive member of our team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory/management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage the schedule of several different sites
  • Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • No disqualifying convictions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
