Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential painting, along with a variety of construction skills. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute painting tasks for residential properties, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Utilize various painting techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as part of renovation projects.
- Assist in fixture installation and restoration tasks to enhance property aesthetics.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following skills:
- Construction estimating and basic math for project assessments.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to painting and construction tasks.
- Knowledge of industrial painting techniques and concrete finishing methods.
- Experience with masonry work, stucco application, and remodeling projects is advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
