Residential Wireman

A Team Home Services is seeking a full-time Residential Wireman to join our team. In this role, they will perform apprentice-level tasks and will serve as the license holder on select projects and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. This role is pivotal in guiding apprentices, overseeing installations, and assisting in project planning. After an initial 6-month period, they will transition into an Install or Service Lead role, taking on increased project oversight responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical tasks at an apprentice level under supervision 
• Help with the installation of electrical wiring in homes, including rough-ins, outlets, light fixtures, and breaker panels. Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to follow wiring plans.
• Troubleshoot each problem and guide customers on how to properly use equipment. Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols as well as ensuring all work performed complies with safety standards and regulations. 
• Serve as the license holder on certain jobs
• Transition into an install or service lead role after 6 months

Requirements:

• Current Texas Wireman or Journeyman License
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and ensure compliance with regulations
• Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manner
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds
• Computer skills including Microsoft office
• Clean driving record
• Pass a background and drug screening

Compensation:
Pay range: $20-$25 hourly
